There is no mass personnel reduction or suspension of large enterprises in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Trade Union Confederation Socio-economic Interests Protection Department Director Chingiz Tagiyev said on Feb. 19.
"Owing to the measures taken by the Azerbaijani Government, the crisis has not significantly impacted on Azerbaijan unlike other countries," he said.
There are over four million of employed people in Azerbaijan. Some 44,500 people have the official status of unemployed.
