Azerbaijan’s Kristall Plus CJSC plans to increase export of alcoholic beverages in post-pandemic period, Director of the company Ali Huseynov told Trend.

“At the moment, the company has no plans to expand the geography of exports. We have been exporting our products to Ukraine, England and India for two years. Following the end of the pandemic, we plan to increase export volumes,” the director emphasized.

Since early 2020, the Kristall Plus has produced 611,739 liters of alcoholic beverages.

This year, 568,447 liters of vodka, 39,041 liters of wine and 4,251 liters of cognac were produced by the company,” Huseynov said.

“The volume of production slightly changed over the year, but sales decreased by 24.4 percent. This is due to the limited export of products to foreign markets caused by the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.

On March 25, 2020 the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Development Agency of Azerbaijan provided Kristall Plus CJSC with financial support for production of medical alcohol.

Since March 25, 2020, Kristall Plus has produced 208,479 liters of medical alcohol.

Kristall Plus CSJC that has been operating since 2004, specializes in the production of various wines and spirits.

The company uses the latest equipment of leading manufacturers in the production process.
