Iran's customs revenues reached 46.7 trillion rials (some $1.5 billion based on the official exchange rate of 31,100 rials per each USD) in the first four months of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 20 – July 20).
The figure indicates a rise by 10 percent compared to the same period of the preceding year, the Customs Administration said.
Iran imported 9.958 million tons of goods, worth $12.865 billion, during the four-month period, which is 7.12 percent less in terms of value as compared to the same period of preceding year.
The country’s non-oil exports including gas condensates also hit $16.308 billion in the period, 21 percent more year-on-year.
