The heads of police departments in 21 cities of Turkey were replaced, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported Jan. 20.
It is expected that the personnel changes in the law enforcement agencies of Turkey will continue for a month.
Last year, Turkey carried out the biggest reshuffle in the law enforcement agencies system.
In Ankara and Izmir alone, the reshuffle touched over 470 police officers.
The personnel changes in the law enforcement agencies of Turkey began after the country held an anti-corruption operation in 2013.
