Armenia will never dare to recognize the interdependence of Nagorno-Karabakh, Vafa Guluzade, a political scientist told Trend.

Armenian news agency Mediamax has recently reported that in case the sides disagree to come to agreement in the resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Yerevan will recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Guluzade said that by his statement Kocharian intends to pressure on Azerbaijan. “Russia, failed to plunge Azerbaijan into the state of Uzbekistan, is also mingled in it. However, it will be a failure,” he underlined.

Aydin Mirzazade, a political expert, partially shared the opinions of his counterpart. “If Armenia wanted, it would recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh. For many years this country demands it from the world. The Armenian President, well familiar with Azerbaijan’s position on the problems, took a next step to make such a step.

Mirzazade said that the statement by Kocharian will be a topic of heat discussions in the media for many days, and then get forgotten. “It is unserious and illogic idea,” he emphasized.
