BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. The volume of overdue loans in Azerbaijan totaled 480 million manat as of October 1, marking a 1.5 percent rise from September.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) indicates that the overall volume of problem loans increased by 9.5 percent since the start of the year and decreased by 7.5 percent over the past 12 months.
The total share of the loan portfolio of the banking sector and non-bank credit organizations (NBCO) decreased by 0.6 percent compared to the same period last year, now accounting for 1.7 percent.
