BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. TikTok has clearly recognized the economic and digital potential within Azerbaijan, said Barış Aldanmaz, head of TikTok's Global Business Solutions Department for Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Central and South Asia, Trend reports.
The representative made his remark during the presentation of the “TikTok for Business” platform in Azerbaijan.
"Before entering any market, we conduct thorough research. We are interested not only in the country’s economic potential but also its digital and creative capacities—each plays a crucial role. In Azerbaijan, we have clearly identified these opportunities, which is why we are here. We deeply believe in its economic potential and human resources. We are also confident that we can significantly develop the creative ecosystem. Especially for local brands, not just in Azerbaijan but beyond, TikTok presents a tremendous growth opportunity. We are investing significantly in Azerbaijan, both in terms of human resources and financially, and we plan to continue increasing these investments," he said.
