BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. The implementation of the II phase of construction at Azerbaijan's Yevlakh pilot agricultural park officially kicked off, Trend reports via the unified internet portal for state procurement.

In this context, the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan's Construction and Supply Association LLC has initiated preparatory work for the initiative.

Construction activities will take place in the Yevlakh district as part of the project to develop the Yevlakh pilot agricultural park.

The organization has a 31.2 million manat ($18.3 million) agreement with M-NAF LLC for the specified work.

The Minister of Economy's decree No. F-117, dated August 25, 2020, which initiated the project as part of the "Integration of medium-sized farms into agro-industrial clusters," paved the way for the park's construction efforts.

The Yevlakh pilot agricultural park is the first of its kind in the country, designed to integrate small and medium-sized farms into agribusiness clusters.

The government is consistently implementing various incentives to promote entrepreneurial activity within the agropark.

The plan includes constructing both external and internal infrastructure systems for the agropark, issuing investment stimulation documents to residents, and implementing a "single window" system. Collaborative cluster activities will facilitate the establishment of a modern agro-industrial complex in the pilot agropark.

The agropark spans a total area of 2807 hectares, with 1147 hectares designated for plots, 1028 hectares allocated for animal feed production, and 129 hectares set aside for a social zone.
