BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. The Mine Action Agency is currently training 1,138 demining instructors, the head of the department of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ramil Azizov said during a roundtable discussion on mine victims, Trend reports.
“More than 168,000 ha of land has been demined in Karabakh today. A total of 161,000 mines have been detected. After the war, 381 people became victims of mines. As many as 70 people were dead, 311 were injured,” he said.
