Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 August / Trend corr. E.Babayev / The lawsuit by the opposition Azerbaijani national Independent Party (ANIP) against the Baku City Administration will be re-considered, Ali Orujov, the Deputy Chairman of ANIP, told Trend .
In 2007, ANIP stated about the City Administration limited its right of freedom of assemble and made a court appeal to the Sabayil District Court. However, the lawsuit was rejected. A month ago the Baku Appeal Court returned the case to the Sabayil Court to reconsider.
The process is scheduled for 8 August.
ANIP was the first party received registration in Azerbaijan in 1992. Etibar Mammadov had been the founder and chairman of the party by 2004. Presently, Mammadov is the deputy chairman of the International Democratic Alliance.
