Грузия, Тбилиси, 26 августа /корр. Trend Н.Кирцхалиа/ The military expert, Koba Liklikadze does not exclude that NATO can use the airspace of Georgia as an alternative way to deliver cargos to Afghanistan if Russia forbids to use its territory for these purposes. Liklikadze said that the precedents of using the territory of Georgia for this purpose already exist.
"Several years ago, Georgia even adopted a law, according to which the NATO countries have the right to use airspace of Georgia as an alternative way to deliver cargos," the expert said.
As known, Russia actively considers the possibility to use its territory to deliver cargos of NATO to Afghanistan. In this case, the alliance will appear problems with delivery of cargos and it makes it necessary to search alternative ways.
