Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree to award several individuals on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of Lachin on Feb. 19, the AzerTag news agency reported.
Under the decree, Roza Jabrayilova was named an "Honored Teacher of the Azerbaijan Republic," Shakir Isayev and Avaz Zeynalov - "Honored Doctor of the Azerbaijan Republic," Elmira Abbasova and Solmaz Maharramova - "Honored Art Figure of the Azerbaijan Republic" and Agakhan Nazarov - "Honored Agricultural Employee of the Azerbaijan Republic."
