Azerbaijan President receives delegation headed by Georgian Prime Minister

On June 1, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation headed by the Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri, AzerTaj state news agency reported.

The Prime Minister delivered the greetings of the President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili to Ilham Aliyev.

Gilauri said that the energy cooperation between the two countries further strengthened after the International Caspian Oil & Gas and Petrochemical exhibition and conference on June 2 in Baku.

Azerbaijani President stressed that the relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia in various spheres, including economy and energy, successfully develop, and the visit of the Prime Minister of the neighboring republic will further deepen the bilateral relations.

Touching upon the importance of the International Oil & Gas Exhibition, the President of Azerbaijan stressed the importance of activities in terms of enhancing international relations.
