Ambassador of Saudi Arabia finishes diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer to Turkmenistan finished his diplomatic mission in the country, a national TV channel Altyn Asyr reported.

The Saudi Ambassador meets with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov stressed the "utmost interest of Saudi Arabia in building a reliable bridge with Turkmenistan that plays a key role in the geopolitical space of Central Asia."

"Cooperation with Saudi Arabia, with which Turkmenistan has long been associated strong bonds of friendship, trust and understanding, is one of the strategic vectors of foreign policy," Berdymuhamedov said.

President Berdimuhammedov carried out his first foreign visit in Riyadh. The two countries are implementing a number of joint projects in areas such as fuel and energy sector, health, education, communication.
