EU observers' mission strengthens patrol due to anniversary of August war in Georgia.
"Observers of the mission work day and night to control situation. Our goal is to preserve security and stability of people on both sides of administrative border," special statement of the border said.
EU called on sides to refrain from these statements and actions that can cause misunderstanding.
The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office made special statement due to anniversary of August Georgian-Ossetian war.
Greek foreign minister Dora Bakoyannis said that at present, Georgia most of all needs presence of OSCE observers' mission.
