New Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan appointed

Yerzhan Kazykhanov has been appointed as the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The new Foreign Minister was presented to the Ministry's staff by the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev.

Also, Asylzhan Mamytbekov was appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Talgat Ermegiyaev was appointed as the Minister of Tourism and Sports, RIA Novosti reported.

Kazykhanov and Ermegiyaev previously were deputy heads of relevant ministries, Mamytbekov headed the national company KazAgro.

The government of Kazakhstan said that the other ministers of the new cabinet will be presented to teams to their staffs on Tuesday.
