Georgian delegation to attend European Parliament's conference in Brussels

On Tuesday Brussels will host a conference organized by the European People's Party faction in the European Parliament. As Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said, the conference will be attended by a Georgian delegation, which includes representatives of both the ruling party and the opposition.

On Tuesday Brussels will host a conference organized by the European People's Party faction in the European Parliament. As Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalandadze said, the conference will be attended by a Georgian delegation, which includes representatives of both the ruling party and the opposition.

In particular, the delegation includes State Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Giorgi Baramidze, Deputy Foreign Minister Tornike Gordadze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration David Darchiashvili and the Christian-Democratic Movement leader Giorgi Targamadze.

The conference will discuss issues of deepening the cooperation between the EU and Georgia, future prospects and other important issues.

Kalandadze said the Eastern Partnership's role is very important to strengthening regional security.
