The delegation headed by first deputy chairman of the Parliament of azerbaijan, the head of the delegation of the Azerbaijani parliament in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Ziyafat Asgarov will travel to Tallinn to attend the spring session of NATO Parliamentary Assembly on May 24.
The delegation includes MPs Siyavush Novruzov, Tahir Suleymanov and Gudrat Hasanguliyev, the official website of the Parliament said on Tuesday.
The committees of the PA will discuss the topical issues of the political situation in the world during the session. The political aspects of defense and security issues will also be discussed after Chicago NATO summit.
Draft reports on such topics as Arab spring: the future impact of the Euro-Atlantic Security, Afghanistan: Before and After 2014, The sources and the future impact of the crisis the euro will be heard. An exchange of views will also be held.
Discussions on security in the Persian Gulf, influence of the processes in the Russia on domestic and foreign policies, on migration in the Mediterranean basin, counter-narcotics in Afghanistan, the regulation of cyber security, nuclear energy, piracy, and unmanned air transport will be held during the session.
MPs will participate in committee meetings and express the position of Azerbaijan on the issues.
