BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. The holding of municipal election is expedient after January 25, the chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov said, Trend reports.
Panahov noted that the exact date of the municipal election will be announced in late November.
The CEC Chairman also provided updates on the preparations underway to organize the election.
"We need to quickly establish the district election commissions.
In turn, the commissions will issue instructions to the precinct election commissions. An educational program will be implemented for newly elected members of the commissions," Panahov said.
