"Presently, our main rivals in struggle for championship are Inter and Khazar-Lankaran. I think that Inter is more dangerous. Perhaps, all see how the team won the host Khazar-Lankaran with 2:4 scores," Mammadov said Trend .
Presently, Baku is considered one of the main contenders for the victory in Azerbaijani prime league. The team occupies the second place with 23 points in a fixture list, after Inter.
"It is supposed that well-known footballers will be invited to Baku during the period of winter interval," vice-president said.
"We invited 19-year-old footballer of combined team of Burundi for examination. A forward from Senegal will arrive, besides him. Both footballers will arrive at a base of our team in a week," Mammadov said.
"If Baku matches with success, a new contract will be signed with Gyoko Khajiyevski, Macedonian head coach of the club," he said.
"Everything depends on matches of our team. We wanted to prolong the contract with head coach. He did not want himself and made a decision to wait a little. If Baku matches with success, a new contract will be signed with Gyoko Khajiyevski, Macedonian head coach of the club," Mammadov said.
Khajiyevski's contract with Baku will be finished by the end of this season, that is in summer of the next year.
