The lawyer said that an appeal is being prepared to cancel Sabayil district court's decision arresting Arabul.

On June 4, Turkish businessman Huseyn Arabul, accused under the article 318 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan (attempt to cross the border illegally), was sentenced to two months in prison according to Sabayil district court's decision.

After completion of the court, Arabul was sent to the detention center 1 in Bayil.

On June 4, Arabul was detained by the Georgian border guards and handed over to the Azerbaijani side. According to the decision of the Court on Heinous Crimes, in 2007 Arabul was sentenced to five-year conditional punishment and a penal totaling 1,370,000 manats. Arabul can not leave Azerbaijan unless the period of punishment completes.
