Religious parties' protest action in front of the Foreign Ministry against Israeli President Shimon Peres's visit to Azerbaijan failed.
On June 27, roughly 50 participants of the action sought to assemble in front of the ministry's building, but the police prevented the unauthorized action. As a result, one person, as well as Chairman of the Azerbaijan Islam Party Mohsun Samadov was arrested.
Israeli President Shimon Peres will arrive in Azerbaijan on June 28-29 with an official visit..
