Kazakh-Turkish multiseries film "Astana - my love" to be presented in Astana

Kazakh-Turkish multiseries film "Astana - my love" will be presented at the end of June in Astana, chief producer of the joint project Kazakhstan-Turkey Gulnara Sarsenova-Ahmetgalieva told Trend.

"Kazakh-Turkish 12-series film "Astana - my love" will be presented in Astana at the end of June. It is a drama with elements of thriller," Sarsenova-Ahmetgalieva said.

She said that now the work is under completion, namely scoring and correction on the light.

"The idea of a film is based on a folk legend. When friends gave birth to children, a boy and a girl, parents decided to marry them. But the fate separates them at first, and then - brings together", chief producer said.

She said that the creators of the project realized the legend on a modern motive.

"The action took place in 1985, when a young Turkish woman gave birth to a girl in a plane, just above Tselinograd (now Astana). A young Kazakh woman who has a year-old son helps her to give birth. A Turkish woman promised to marry their children. And by fate, young people met after 25 years", Sarsenova-Ahmetgalieva said.

She said the shooting took place in Istanbul, Ankara, Astana and Almaty.

Director of the film "Astana - my love" Yermek Shynarbaev is a winner of many cinema festivals. Operator is Maxim Tropko, which is included in the top five operators in Russia.

"The project will be presented first in the cinemas of the capital, and then at one of the national TV channels. Well-known Turkish and Kazakh actors and young actors were shot in the film," general producer said.
