Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov approved a procedure for the recognition of foreign degrees today.
Earlier, Berdimuhammedov approved the provision on public vocational education institutions, primary, secondary and higher professional education institutions and public educational and preschool institutions.
Signing the document, Berdimuhammedov stressed the growing need for the most advanced knowledge and highly skilled personnel.
We should fully engage young professionals, who have received education abroad, so that they were able to realize their potential to the benefit of the Motherland,' he said at the recent government meeting.
The country has only recognized foreign diplomas relatively recently. Almost simultaneously, the Academy of Sciences and Graduate School have been restored.
Turkmenistan recently launched a program to build new educational and cultural institutions equipped with the latest equipment. The industrial park will be built in Ashgabat in 2011. It is known that the draft was submitted by the Turkish company Polimex to the government last year.
