The issues of food security were discussed in Dushanbe during the meeting between Tajik Deputy Minister of Economic Development Umed Davlatzod and the head of the UN World Food Programme (WFP) office in Dushanbe, Alzira Ferreira, Avesta.tj reported.
At the meeting the sides discussed the issues of current importance and the prospects for bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the WFP.
Ferreira informed Davlatzod about the plans and programmes the WFP plans to implement in Tajikistan.
They also discussed joint projects aimed to establish food security in the country.
