Georgian Dream Coalition of Bidzina Ivanishvili will take into consideration the proposal of Tbilisi City Hall in connection with the date of the rally.
The coalition will postpone a large-scale rally from May 26 - Independence Day of Georgia to May 27, spokesperson of the coalition Maia Panjikidze told Trend on Friday.
Georgian Dream planned to begin election campaign by a large-scale rally on May 26. To do this, it appealed to the Directorate of Dynamo and Locomotive stadiums.
The city hall proposes coalition to hold a rally on May 27, spokesman of the Hall Bacho Dolidze told reporters on Friday. He said that on May 26 there will be a number of events dedicated to the Independence Day of Georgia, due to which some central streets will be blocked.
Spokesman of the Georgian Football Federation Otar Giorgadze told reporters that Georgian Dream coalition will have no problems in connection with holding the rally at the Locomotive stadium on May 27. He said that on May 26 the stadium will host the country's football Cup final, and therefore, on this day the arena will be busy.
