Moldova intends to rank well at Eurovision 2012, which is held in Baku, participant from the country Pasha Parfeny said at a press conference after the first semi-final.

"I promised to reach the final before the competition and kept it. Now we are aimed to hold high place at the final. We will do our best. I even hope for a better result. We have good enough chance to win the first place," Parfeny said.

Parfeny will perform under number 26 with a song in English Lăutar.

Pasha Parfeny was born in 1986 in Moldova. He graduated from the jazz instruments class at the Transnistria Music College. He is Moldovan singer and songwriter, former soloist of "SunStroke Project" band.

Parfeny is a winner of the International Music Festival Slavianski Bazar in Vitebsk, Romania, in 2009. He has repeatedly participated in Moldovan Eurovision national selections.
