The kidneys of four patients suffering from chronic renal failure were transplanted at the Gabala medical diagnostic center, the Health Ministry told Trend today.
Kidney transplants were held for the first time thanks to the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The operations carried out by 20 doctors of the Central Hospital of Oil Workers, were successful. At present, all patients feel well.
