BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 1. Nakhchivan State Technical College and Nakhchivan Medical College transferred to the management of Nakhchivan State University of the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The decree was signed by Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov.
According to the decree, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan should resolve issues related to the transfer of Nakhchivan State Technical College and Nakhchivan Medical College to the Nakhchivan State University in accordance with the requirements of the legislation.
In addition, financing of the activities of Nakhchivan State Technical College and Nakhchivan Medical College in the current year at Nakhchivan State University of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan via the budget of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023, respectively, will continue within the means provided.
Moreover, the financing will be carried out at the expense of the funds provided for in the centralized expenses of the state budget of Azerbaijan for the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan from 2024.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan must take into account the financing issues specified in the third part of this decree in the process of balancing a budget of Azerbaijan for subsequent years.
