The Organization of Education, Science and Culture of Islamic Countries (ICESCO) implements 5 new programs on the educational system development in Azerbaijan. The cooperation of the organization with Azerbaijan will be focused on these programes, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Among them improvement of the curricular for schools and Universities, rendering a technical assistance, development and strengthening of secondary schools bases, where the Arabian language is taught and etc.
ICESCО stages consultations, will hold symposiums and conferences within the framework of the technical assistance. The first such event, the international symposium on the subject: “Development through Education” has already been held in the first half-year in Baku.
Рђzerbaijan is a member of this structure since 1991 and is represented in the Executive Council since 1993 .
