Another Meeting by Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Expected in Baku on 25,26 September

Kazakhstan, Astana, 18 August / Trend corr. K.Konirova / Kazakhstan intends to brisk up the work within the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Program, Bakhit Sultanov, Economy and Budget Planning Minister said.

"We should form country's accurate position and activity within CAREC program on the national and regional rate, particularly in transport, energy and trade policy," Sultanov said delivering a speech at the meeting dedicated to the cooperation within CAREC.

Minister said that "use of the economic cooperation as a dialogue amongst member-countries will enable to coordinate projects in all spheres within CAREC".

Appointment of CAREC officials from each ministry is expected to be made through two level in order to strengthen organization's coordination.

The next meeting of CAREC is planning to hold with participation of vice ministers in September 2008. The key topic of the meeting will include preparing to the meeting of CAREC high ranking officials in Baku on 25 and 26 September.
