The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) will receive a state loan worth $2.4 billion.
A relevant decree was signed by Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov . The Central Bank of Turkmenistan was instructed to issue the loan at the expense of the state funds through the joint-stock commercial bank Rysgal, which belongs to the UIET.
The loan is calculated for 20 years with one percent per annum and a five-year grace period for financing of construction of the high-speed highway Ashgabat-Turkmenabat.
According to the state program of Turkmenistan, the share of the private sector of the economy in the GDP volume should reach 70 percent until 2020. Entrepreneurs are allowed to create joint ventures with foreign partners through attracting their investments.
