BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 14. The number of visitors arriving in Azerbaijan from Georgia in April 2022 totaled 5,800, Trend reports with the reference to State Tourism Agency of Azerbaijan.
According to the report, the share of visitors from Georgia in a total number of visitors to Azerbaijan in April 2022 amounted to 6.9 percent.
Georgia ranks fourth among the TOP-10 countries of origin for international visitors arriving in Azerbaijan in the reporting period.
Meanwhile, Turkey ranked first on the list with 22,700 visitors to Azerbaijan in the reporting period of 2022, followed by Russia (19,100) and Iran (13,300).
The total number of international visitors arriving in Azerbaijan in April 2022 amounted to 84,402, which is an increase of 84.4 percent compared to 45,764 visitors in April 2021.
