Georgia increases export of medical tools and appliances to China

Georgia exported 50 tons of medical tools to China from January through September 2019, Trend reports with reference to the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).

The mentioned items were exported from Georgia to China for a total amount of $9.8 million.

On an annual basis, the export of medical tools from Georgia has increased on an annual basis. Over the same period last year, 48 tons of the latter, totaling $7.7 million, were exported from Georgia to China.

For nine months of 2019, total imports from China to Georgia amounted to $647.2 million In turn, Georgia exported goods worth $125.1 million to China.

The foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Turkey from January to August 2019 exceeded $772.3 million, which is 8.4 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.
