The governments of Kazakhstan and Monaco signed agreement on tourism cooperation within the official visit of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to Monaco, Kazinform reported.
The document was signed by Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister - Industry and New Technologies Minister Asset Issekeshev and Foreign Minister of Monako Jose Badia.
Within the visit to Monaco, Kazakh President met with the Prince of Monaco Albert II.
During the meeting the parties discussed political, trade, economic and investment cooperation and implementation of the agreements on the development of the full range of cooperation.
In particular, Kazakh President and the Prince of Monaco discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of environmental protection, including the 'Green Bridge' partnership program, in the 'green economy', as well as Monaco's participation in EXPO 2017 in Astana.
Moreover, the parties discussed the possibility of cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
