BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 12. The Intersectoral Energy Saving Fund under the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and Uzbek Xalq bank signed a general agreement providing for the issuance of 'green consumer loans' to the population, Trend reports via Uzbek Ministry of Energy.
These loans will help meet the growing need of the population for energy resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the environment.
The agreement was signed by Executive Director of the Intersectoral Energy Saving Fund Elzod Rakhmanov and Deputy Chairman of the board of Xalq bank Dilshod Kutliyev.
The mentioned loans are issued for a period of 5 years and will be provided for obtaining of energy-saving and renewable energy sources at the expense of the fund.
