The Israeli army on Wednesday arrested 22 Palestinians in a campaign in different West Bank towns and villages, Israeli Radio and Palestinian security sources reported.
The Radio quoted an Israeli army spokesman as saying that the Israeli forces arrested 22 Palestinians sought after by the Israeli security intelligence. The spokesman declined to reveal the identity of the detainees, Xinhua reported.
Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources said Israeli soldiers stormed several towns and villages in the West Bank, and detained four Palestinians in Jericho, 15 in Ramallah and three in Bethlehem.
