BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. The volume of goods and services in the industrial production of Azerbaijan's Baku from January through April 2022 amounted to 23.7 billion manat ($13.9 billion), Trend reports via the Baku City Statistics Department.
According to the department, 85.1 percent of the total volume fell on mining industry, 12.7 percent - manufacturing industry, 1.8 percent - production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, while 0.4 percent - sector of water supply, waste treatment and processing.
Share of private sector in the industry was 90.7 percent, share of industrial products in the total volume of production amounted to 94.9 percent, and provision of industrial services – 5.1 percent.
The warehouses of industrial enterprises had stocks of finished products in the amount of 272.3 million manat ($160.1 million) as of May 1, 2022 and most of the products were sent to consumers.
Other products purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale in the amount of 82 million manat ($48.2 million) were also stocked in the mentioned warehouses.
