The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) noted the increase in money supply (M2) (cash in circulation (outside banks) and remainders in the domestic currency on accounts of non-financial organizations, financial (excluding credit) organizations and phyiscal entities) by 1.4 percent in November and 33 percent compared to November 2009, the CBA reported.
So, as of late November, the rate of M2 was 7417.7 million manat compared to 7314.5 million manat as of late October and 5575.6 million manat as of Dec.1, 2009.
The amount of cash money supply (M0) in late November hit 4994.3 million manat compared to 4942.6 million manat as of late October and 3805.7 million manat as of Dec.1, 2009.
As of late November, Broad Money Supply (M3) totaled 9620.8 million manat compared to 9619.9 million manat in late October and 7904.9 million manat as of Dec.1, 2009.
The transaction money (M1) amounted to 5964 million manat as of November compared to 5999.9 million manat as of late October and 4706.6 million manat as of Dec.1, 2009.
The official exchange rate is 0.7985 manat to $1 on Dec.27.
