Ganja Aluminum Plant, the largest affiliate enterprise of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation (AIC) OJSC, continues operating in the quarantine regime, a source in the company told Trend.
According to the source, from the beginning of the quarantine regime to date, the plant has produced 145 tons of liquid metal, 30 tons of hot-rolled aluminum coils and 115 tons of aluminum ingots. The manufactured products of the enterprise are provided for export purposes.
“Corresponding safety rules are observed, disinfection works regularly carried out at the enterprise; the employees have been provided with the necessary personal protective equipment (respirators, masks),” the source said.
“The company takes all measures in order to execute special directions of the state’s head and rules established by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers. An internal operational headquarters was established under the leadership of AIC’s Director General, the purpose of which is to organize continuous operation at production sites of special importance indicated in the strategic roadmaps of the state,” added the source.
