The average monthly nominal salary of hired employees in Azerbaijan’s Baku city as of early June 2021 decreased by four percent compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 944.4 manat ($555.5), Trend reports on Aug. 4 with reference to Baku’s Statistics Department.
This indicator reached 944.6 manat ($555.6) as of early May, having decreased on an annualized basis by 5.9 percent.
The nominal salary of hired employees in Baku increased by 6.9 percent in 2020 compared to 2019 and amounted to 927.2 manat ($545.4).
