Within the framework of Uzbekistan's cooperation with the special economic zone (SEZ) in Russia - "Innopolis" (in Tatarstan), projects will be implemented to assist start-ups of Uzbekistan in entering the markets of Tatarstan, General Manager of the 'Innopolis' Renat Khalimov told Trend.
Moreover, projects will be implemented to organize professional and scientific events and internships, as well as projects to exchange experience in the development, promotion, export of software products and services of national developers to foreign markets.
“We will pay special attention to projects that are aimed at facilitating the financing of innovation activities, including through the provision of professional services for their promotion,” Khalimov said.
“In the near future, we plan to launch a joint acceleration program for startups in Uzbekistan and Russia together with the IT Park and UZCARD, we are discussing a project to train recruiters of the Uzbek IT Park in our school of recruiters and will continue the project to assist the development of bilateral relations between our residents and partners, ”he said.
As Khalimov said that 'Innopolis' has planned to develop the relations between the innovation ecosystem of Russia and Uzbekistan in early 2021 and signed a memorandum in September.
“We are heading for a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership and intend to develop our cooperation in several areas: joint strengthening of competencies and human potential, expanding opportunities and joint access to resources for business development and entering international markets,” he said.
In conclusion, Khalimov added that start-ups from Uzbekistan are already coming to 'Innopolis'.
“We are ready to provide our colleagues with all the advanced opportunities available to us in the IT market,” he said.
