BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Ozodbek Nazarbekov will visit Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
He will take part in the 6th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, "Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interconnectivity," which will be held in Baku from May 1–3.
Chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Mufti Nuriddin Kholiknazarov, deputy speaker of the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan's Parliament Zukhra Ibragimova, and other deputies and senators of the Parliament will also participate in the forum.
The event will be attended by a total of 700 high-ranking guests from around the world. Among the participants, representing more than 100 countries, along with ministers, there are also representatives of ministries of culture from about 60 countries and 28 international organizations.
The forum will include a ministerial conference and a high-level meeting of international organizations.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, is held in partnership with reputable international organizations, including the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), UNESCO, ICESCO, and the UN World Tourism Organization.
