BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29. Weekly information on humanitarian demining operations carried out in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from Armenian occupation has been released, Trend reports via the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).
According to the information, 100 anti-tank mines, 59 anti-personnel mines, and 380 unexploded ordnance were found and defused in the territories liberated from occupation on April 22-28, 2024.
A total of 1,245 hectares of land were demined.
Demining operations were carried out by ANAMA, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the State Border Service.
