BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. Kazakhstan has significantly increased the volume of investments in fixed capital in the areas of public administration, defense and compulsory social security from January through June 2022, Trend reports via Kazinform.

During this period, the volume of investments in fixed capital in the areas of public administration, defense and compulsory social security amounted to 38.8 billion tenge ($80.8 million), which is 2.2 times more than in the same period last year.

Out of 20 regions, only Ulytau district has not received funds for fixed capital in the field of defense this year.

Furthermore, 52.9 percent of capital investments were provided at the expense of the republican budget: 20.5 billion tenge ($42.7 million), which is 5.3 times more than in the same period last year.

At the same time, 17.1 billion tenge ($35.6 million) was invested from the local budget, 916 million tenge ($1.9 million) from the enterprises' own funds, borrowed funds amounted to 280.7 million tenge ($585,200).
