A family of six, including a two year old child, were brutally murdered in Armenia's second largest city of Gyumri, the Armenian media reported Jan. 12.
The information was confirmed by the prosecutor of Shirak region, Raffi Aslanyan.
The serviceman of a Russian base in Armenia, Valery Permiakov is the main suspect in the murder, Sona Truzyan, the press secretary of the chairman of Armenia's investigative committee, Aghvan Hovsepian, told Tert.am news agency.
She said military shoes, an AK-74 automatic weapon, cartridge cases and a clip with bullets were found at the crime scene.
