Russia and Kyrgyzstan agreed to accelerate the ratification of agreements in the sphere of hydropower, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, RIA Novosti reported.
The agreements were reached during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Kyrgyzstan.
The hydropower projects now need the preparation of feasibility study, the minister stressed.
Lavrov also mentioned the importance of transparency of the projects for neighboring countries.
