May 10 marks the 89th birthday of the architect and founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan, nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev.
Long queues of people from across the country arrived in Baku to pay tribute to the nationwide leader. Foreign guests lay wreaths and flowers at the grave of Heydar Aliyev.
