The 6th Extraordinary Congress of the Council of Elders of Azerbaijan started its work in Baku.
Deputy Chairman of the Council of Elders Fattah Heydarov made an opening speech at the event, during which he talked about important place of the Council of Elders in Azerbaijani society.
Head of Azerbaijani Presidential Administration's Social and Political Department Ali Hasanov read out Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's address to attendees of the 6th Extraordinary Congress of Azerbaijani Council of Elders.
Working groups of the Council of Elders were appointed.
