BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 11. Former President of Serbia Boris Tadic has met with Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Ghebreyesus on behalf of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), Trend reports.
"Pleased to welcome the NGIC delegation, led by former President Boris Tadic, to the WHO today. We had a constructive discussion about COP29 preparation and the importance of health being at the center of the climate action discussions in November," Ghebreyesus wrote on his page on X.
The sides also discussed the mpox outbreaks and other infectious disease risks and how WHO is responding.
